The 12th Bromley Company is part of the youth work of Christ Church and has been so since 2nd April 1946.

The Boys' Brigade (the BB) is a uniformed Christian Youth Organisation for Boys. It was founded in 1883 by William Alexander Smith at the Woodside Mission Hall in Glasgow.

The Object of the BB is:

The Advancement of Christ's Kingdom among Boys and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self-Respect and all that tends towards true Christian manliness.

NOTE TO PARENTS:

We are a Christian youth organisation which seeks to train and develop young men from 5 years old through the difficult teenage years into manhood. All the staff are experienced and a number hold Boys' Brigade qualifications for the activities that are undertaken. Being responsible for the welfare of the young people in our care we ensure all our helpers are of good character and are sympathetic to our object.
